Was born in Florida. My mother married a Sailor and we transferred to Virginia and when he left the Navy we moved to Missouri. Lived in Buffalo Missouri area (GO BISONS!) until 11th grade then moved to Humansville (Go Tigers) where I graduated and joine the Navy.
Went active duty on January 16, 1984 to a wonderful warm place (NOT!) called great lakes Recruit training command where the temperature when we got off the plane was “OH MY F(^%&$* GOD MY B&$%^# FROZE OFF!!” cold. Following duty station was Groton Connecticut for Sub School.
